Shiva Guest House is an original watercolour on Saunders Waterford 300gsm paper.
I wanted to paint something I could get my teeth into, and this little guest house in Pushkar I saw when visiting there was perfect. It’s full of textures which is a perfect subject for me. I don’t often paint vehicles so the scooter was a challenge but the open door intrigued me. It looked so welcoming despite, or maybe because of, the dilapidated condition.

The image size of Shiiva Guest House, Pushkar is 530 x 410mm (21” x 16.25” approx). It will arrive with stretching tape still attached. This will give the framer extra margin to help preserve all of the image when framing. It will not show once framed.
