I painted this picture during a botanical painting day in a most beautiful private garden near Stisted in Essex. Orchids are delicate, exotic and said to represent love, luxury, beauty and strength, a perfect combination. It would look good in any sitting or dining area or even in a bedroom. Purple orchids specifically, symbolise admiration, respect, dignity and royalty.
The image size of this painting is: 38cm x 25.5cm (15”’ x 10” approx) portrait. It will arrive with stretching tape still attached as this will give the framer extra margin to help preserve all of the image when framing. It will not show once framed.
