Does the artwork come framed?
All artworks are sold unframed unless other arrangements have been discussed.
How should I frame the Artwork?
You have made an investment in your artwork so it’s important not only to display it to the best advantage but also to protect it. I would recommend taking it to a local bespoke framer who should be able to advise you on the style of frame and mount.
I would normally recommend a neutral frame with at least a 50mm mount/mat, this will give the piece plenty of space around the artwork, especially if you will be hanging it on a busy wall.
How/where should I hang my artwork?
If you don’t already have a particular place in mind when you purchased the artwork, here are a few things you may like to consider when choosing a location to hang it.
Preferably hang your artwork somewhere there will be space around it. For paintings behind glass try and avoid areas that get very steamy or have excessive condensation such as a well-used shower/bathroom, or right above a cooker top or kettle, etc.
Also with watercolor, although I use high-quality paints with strong pigments and my prints are produced with archival fade-resistant inks, try not to hang your artwork in a position that has sustained strong sunlight, to avoid fading over time.
What if I love a painting but I’m not sure if it will look right in the space I have?
If you love a painting but are unsure how it would look in the space, and you are able to provide me with a good-quality photo of that space, I can supply you with a digital mock-up of the painting, set in your room.
If you are still not sure, I do offer a 14-day returns and refund policy if you change your mind. However, the delivery charge would not be refunded, and return postage would be the responsibility of the purchaser.
